To protect those serving in China, we cannot share a testimony of work among UPGs in that country but instead share the fruit of the Asia Worker’s Fund in another region.
"I was brought up in a Hindu family, and when I was young I loved the Hindu deities and I devoted my life to their service, becoming a priest in a famous temple. Although I prayed and blessed others every day, I had no peace or joy in my heart. I began to drink alcohol to help me cope and became known as ‘the drunken priest.’
One day I got such a severe stomach pain that I could not bear it. My wife prayed to our gods with tears, but nothing happened. My pain increased. Finally, I was taken to the hospital.
When some Christian gospel workers visited the hospital, they spoke to me with love and told me about Jesus, but I laughed, because I knew that gods can't help. Despite my attitude, they confidently told me that Jesus can heal me if I trust him. The moment they lifted up their voices to heaven, I felt as if the Almighty God Himself was listening to their prayers. I was completely healed. On that day, the Lord proved to me that He is the God who can speak, heal, and save even a lost soul like me.
Today, I am an independent evangelist and pastor. I don't have enough money to buy the Scriptures, so I thank God for supplying Bibles through Asia Harvest. I carry hundreds of Mark's gospel to 30 villages and distribute them to people one by one.

WHO WE ARE
Asia Harvest is a non-denominational Christian ministry working in various countries throughout Asia to see effective churches planted among unreached people groups.
WHO WE SERVE
We work alongside Asian church leaders, helping and equipping them to focus on reaching the lost. The serve in China, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Bangladesh, Bhutan and Cambodia. Within these 10 countries are approximately 2,000 unreached tribes and ethnic groups.
We work with fellowships and organizations in various ways, such as printing of Bibles and evangelistic materials, help in training and seminars for indigenous believers' groups, aiding evangelists in their efforts to share the gospel, humanitarian aid in situations where this will help in promoting the gospel, helping those who have lost their income because of their faith, and providing research materials to aid in reaching the unreached.
FOCUS PROJECT
The Asian Workers Fund assists indigenous church-planting evangelists who are involved in strategic ministry to Asian unreached people groups in Asia. These servants of the Lord have committed their whole lives to the gospel but are hindered by lack of finances.
We only support evangelists/missionaries and not pastors, as we believe shepherds should be supported by the flocks they lead. You can help support these dedicated workers for $25 per month each. A prayer card and occasional updates are sent to all regular donors of this project.
Pray for evangelists and missionaries to have cultural sensitivity in preaching and application of the gospel. Pray for Holy Spirit wisdom, endurance and grace to persevere on a difficult mission field.
